This is in line with an increase of ticket-price to our premium ticket holders (now £200.00 per season) as well as an increase in the amount of premium tickets that we sell each year.

Over the last two seasons we have netted/electro-fished the big pond on x4 separate occasions in an attempt to remove as many silvers and smaller carp as possible.

This is with the intention of giving the larger fish in the “Big Pond” the space, oxygen and food that they require to continue putting the weight on.

So far we are happy with the results.

This netting/cropping has also benefited the other waters on the Wiggs complex… with quality silvers (Roach 1lb+ and Skimmers/Bream 3lb+) and Carp up to 10-11lb all moved across to the Back Pond (Silvers), Top Pond (Carp) and F1 Pond (Silvers and Carp).
